Yes! Cadence is designed to work 100% offline. All flashcards, study progress, and features work without an internet connection. You can study anywhere, anytime.
The 7-day free trial gives you full access to all premium features: all 10 languages with 10,000+ flashcards, spaced repetition, custom deck creation, Apple Watch app, and more. No credit card required to start. After the trial, choose a subscription plan or lifetime access to continue.
To cancel your subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find Cadence and tap it
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
To restore purchases, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Then go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Your subscription or lifetime purchase will be restored automatically.
Yes! Premium subscribers can create custom flashcard decks. You can add cards manually or import from CSV files. Custom decks fully integrate with the spaced repetition system.
iCloud sync is a Premium feature. When you turn it on, your study progress and custom decks are backed up to your own private iCloud account so you can pick up on another device. Your data stays in your personal iCloud and is not shared with us.
Premium subscribers get access to the Apple Watch app. It syncs automatically with your iPhone. On your watch, you can do quick review sessions, check cards due, and track your streak. Perfect for studying on the go!
After revealing a card's answer, rate how well you knew it:
- Again: You did not know it, so the card will appear again soon
- Hard: You knew it with difficulty - shorter interval
- Good: You knew it well - normal interval
- Easy: You knew it instantly - longer interval
Be honest! Accurate ratings help the algorithm optimize your learning.
Yes. Go to Settings > Manage Data > Reset Study Progress. This will reset all spaced repetition data but keep your custom decks. This action cannot be undone.
