Agreement
By downloading, installing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using Cadence, you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate written agreement applies.
License
Cadence grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal language study on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store rules.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Cadence offers three premium access options:
- Monthly Premium: $4.99 per month. Product identifier:
com.lingodeck.premium.monthly. - Yearly Premium: $29.99 per year. Product identifier:
com.lingodeck.premium.yearly. - Lifetime Premium: $49.99 one time. Product identifier:
com.lingodeck.premium.lifetime.
Eligible new subscribers receive a 7 day free introductory trial on the monthly or yearly subscription. The lifetime purchase is a non-consumable purchase and does not renew.
Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in App Store account settings after purchase.
Trial Conversion
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the selected subscription begins automatically and Apple charges your Apple ID account. Apple may require a valid payment method to start a subscription trial.
Refunds
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Educational Content
Cadence provides vocabulary and study tools for educational use. The app is not a substitute for professional instruction, certification, or translation services. Content may be revised over time to improve accuracy.
User Content
You are responsible for custom decks or cards you create. Do not use the app to store content that violates law, infringes third-party rights, or is not appropriate for personal study.
Acceptable Use
You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, decompile, sell, or commercially exploit the app or included content except where applicable law expressly permits that activity.
Warranty Disclaimer
The app is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cadence and DuttLabs disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cadence and DuttLabs are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
